Tom Finn consults to leaders and organizations that face global pressure. The ideas in this book focus on the “global” aspect of his work, whether one’s business is multinational or the challenges arise from multicultural workforces and constituents in local communities, schools, agencies, or firms.

Tom also addresses the “pressure” side of business today. His LifeLine Consulting Services increase leaders’ capacity for situations where heavy responsibility and overload threaten the organization’s sales and profits, new product generation, customer service, and employee health.

Tom’s corporate career began at St. Luke’s Episcopal/Texas Children’s Hospitals in Houston, and continued for eight years at Westinghouse. There he consulted to internal and external customers on all aspects of organizational effectiveness before starting his consulting firm in 1991.

Tom has consulted to leaders and teams of all levels in the United States, South America, Central America, and Asia for over twenty years. He has helped organizations plan their futures, align employees in common commitments, and overcome conflicts that hurt the business. Some of Tom’s customers have included Booz | Allen | Hamilton, ETrade Financial, General Dynamics Land Systems, Inova Health Systems, Texaco, Verizon, The World Bank, and the Argentine Education Ministry.

Tom is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, RI, and received his MS in International Business from Georgetown University. He is fluent in Spanish and conducts consulting and training in that language when needed. He has also studied Russian.

Tom lives in Reston, Virginia with his wife Kathleen. He can be contacted directly at tom@tomfinnassociates.com.
